Extended Spring Break (3/16-3/20)

While your child is home you may be looking for educational activities so I’ve included some links below. Additional links can be found at the very bottom of our classroom blog under HELPFUL LINKS.

ELA:
https://www.spellingcity.com/Bagby/ Free games using sight words. Choose list, click on Games; use FREE ones.

Listen to story Mice Twice and discuss. Draw all characters. What’s your favorite, why? What other stories have we read that have a small character doing big things? Draw comparison between this story and the saying “Great oaks from little acorns grow.”

Math:
https://www.starfall.com/h/ : Assorted reading and math skills fun!
AND emailed PDF worksheet (emailed 3/15)

Science:
Start with Gravity Lesson- vocab and quiz located below video https://www.generationgenius.com/videolessons/gravity-pulls-things-down-video-for-kids/

Remember that having your child continue to read and practice Spalding phonograms is key. I've emailed math worksheets reinforcing "making 10", as well.

It is quite possible we'll end up off-campus more than one week. Should that happen, education packets will be made available online.

I'll be in touch later in the week, as will administration.

Take care,
Mrs. Bagby
